My animal is a cute, big and strong species. It’s a Tasmanian Forester Kangaroo. The scientific name is Macropus Giganteus Tasmaniensis. It comes from Australia, it type of ecosystems are Savannas, Grasslands, Forest, and Woodlands. My animal could reach up to 6.5 and, 130 pounds that’s pretty big. The unique thing about my animal is that it has a way of fighting. It’s like a type of boxing, which is really cool for a kangaroo. What I also like about this animal is that its cute and that it’s endangered. That’s why I picked this animal. I believe a poor Kangaroo dose not deserves to die just for its skin and meat. Yes, all animals die because they’re killed for meat and skin but there not that many kangaroos especially the one I'm studying, there also killed for their hides. They belong free with their endangered kind. If you really want meat have Ostrich meat its 100% lean it’s healthy and delicious. Did you know Kangaroos are kept in large camps and slaughtered! Something has to be wrong with you to do that slaughter kangaroos in camps. It makes me want to cry, that’s a horrible thing. Besides that there are also other animals that are making it difficult to find food. The government is taking action by putting them in a safe area were its restricted to hunt. YAAAAAY so those bad guys could hunt something else. That’s a little information about my animal hoped you liked.
My animal is a wild animal. It a strong and fast cat. It is a Jaguar. Janguar are found most in rain forest in the Amazon rainforest. They know how to swim very fast and catch their prey. Januar eat lots of meat and has more then 80 dishes to eat. Janguar hunt, climb tress to try to get at least a bit of food. Janguar are tough. they can weight about 300 ponds or more. They live by themselves just like the lions.
My animal is awesome. It's so cool that they named it the king of the jungle! My animal is a lion, it is very interesting. They travel in packs trap their prey because they are predators. They are the only big cats to travel in packs. Their leaders are usually males and the females hunt for the pack together. The packs are called prides. Lions are beautiful animals. The beauty usually comes from the manes but only the males have manes. The manes are to protect the pact by making them look stronger and more fierce. They also have manes to protect their heads while in battle. My animal is endangered because it is hunted for its fur and mane.
The animal that I have is the southern snake tail. They live in the wet dry areas. They are located in the south hemiesherep and thebiome is the rainforest. They are like a snake but what they use is to cameflush in the environment that there are in. They do that because they like to eat rats and insects. He is in the group of the insects. I think that snake is not a insect. They are always in trees and wet areas. They always go there because they want to eat there prey. Thats there favorite location the snake tails go. There lenght is about 10 feet. The most heavy snake tail was about 190 pounds.
My animal is an African Golden Cat. African Golden Cats live in tropical rainforests in Africa. They are twice the size of a house cat. They eat antelope, sheep, rodents and birds. African Golden Cats are endangered because of killing of antelopes, since they eat antelopes a lot. They usually hunt at night, but are sometimes up during the day.
My animal is the Dumb Gulper shark. It is a vicious crature that is endangered. The Dumb Gulper Shark eats fih and is mostly found in the Ocean Pacific an Indian Ocean. It is 43in long and can swim down to 6,000 feet. The Dumb Gulper shark is 2,240 kilograms (4,938 lb) in weight. The dumb gulper shark can be violent.
The Dumb Gulper shark know how to swim really fast so they can catch their prey and go away from their predetors. It is a rare deepwater dogfish. The population has been deacreasing latley.I picked this aimal because I like to lern about how sharks adapt to getting their needs under water and I think it is cool how even though we can't be under 6,000 feet under the water they can and they live their life that way.
My animal is the Grey wolf. It live in the Tundra. It eats elk, deer, caribou and other hooved animals. The scientific name is Canis Lupus. When pups are born the can't see or hear for the first three months of there lives. The reason why my animal is endangered is because Farmers are afraid that the wolves may eat there sheep and horses so they shoot them. Another reason is because Hunter shoot the so that the elk population can increase. Some people think that wolves are dangerous and that they could kill you but Grey wolves are afraid of humans and the only reason why the eat them sometimes are because they are threatened. The good thing is that in some states it's illegal to shoot Grey wolves.
Vicunas are an endangered species, they are endangered because hunters are killing them for their fur to make scarves, hats, and sweaters. They are also endangered because their water sources are polluted. The Latin name of a vicuna is a vicugna vicugna. Vicunas eat tough grasses. They live in herds of 5-10 members. They live in the South American Andes.
Now since many people are upset about vicunas being hunted, there is a law that states that people are not aloud to kill vicunas for there fur but you are aloud to shave them for there fur. There are places where they have special places for vicunas to stay. In that place the weather is not that cold, that is good because if vicunas don’t have there fur than they would freeze to death. So many people go there if they want to shave the vicunas fur. Hopefully very soon, vicunas will not be endangered and live happily.

My animal is the Tasmanian Forester Kangaroo. His scientific name is Macropus Giganteus Tasmaniensis. They live in savannas, forests, open woodlands, and grasslands. They can grow up to 6-7 feet tall, and 130 pounds. The tasmanian forester kangaroo is close relatives with they Gray kangaroo. A really cool fact about my animal is that its number 1 defense is boxing! Something humans do, too. But they aren't like monkeys or apes that are really close to the human species, they are a whole different animal. So it's interesting and cool to me. They will box over females, land (territory), or power. Another cool fact is that they can jump up to 20 feet long. Thats almost as long a classroom! The reason that the kangaroo is going extinct is because other herbivores, such as rabbits, sheep, and cattle, are eating the same diet as the kangaroo. They eat shrubs, grass, and leaves. With so many other animals trying to get the same foods, the kangaroos' food source is getting scarce. Another big reason is that hunters are killing them for their fur. Some other things are road deaths, climate change, and disease. I feel really bad for the kangaroos because they only live up to 6-8 years. And if hunters are killing them and their food is getting scarce, too? They're going to be extinct before we know it. If you kill a mother kangaroo, in her pouch is the baby. So if the mom is dead, the baby will die soon after too. That means one less kangaroo to grow up and reproduce. That is why there are sanctuaries for them. No hunting allowed and plenty of food for them. Hopefully this will help my animal not go extinct.
My animal is very interesting. It is the Mantled Hoeler Monkey and it lives from Mexico to South America. Its' ecosystems is rainforests. What's cool about my animal is that it has a certain call to communicate with other monkeys, hence the name Mantled "Howler" Monkey because it howls to communicate.
The reason my animal is endangered is because a lot of natural disasters and humans are cutting down trees and that's where the Mantled Howler Monkeys live. They don't walk well on the ground and their food is in the trees.
My animal is a leopard. This animal is a fierce one as well. This animal's scientific name is Panthera pardus, To get it's prey leopards stalk their animals. To monkeys, while their sleeping it sneaks to the animal and crushes it's skull with their big strong teeth! Leopards can change it's natural diet as well. If it's somewhere else and encounters an animal then it will eat it. Cool right. Well I hope you take interest in my animal.-Ballamoussa Kourouma
My animal is a cute little sea turtle.Sea turtles live in most tropical places like the pacific and The gulf of mexico. Sea turtles mostly only lay their eggs at night away from pretetors. Sea turtles are in danger because some humans take the eggs from the mother turtle and take the baby out of the egg and make turtle soup with it.
My animal is the long-billed black cockatoo. They live in the woodlands of Australia. Their diet consists of hearth plants, marri seeds, cape lilac, wild radish, and insect larvae. They live up to 40 years in the wild . A really cool thing about the long billed-black cockatoo is that it's call is really loud which means that if one of them sends out a call about danger many other birds will be able to hear the alert. Another cool thing about the long-billed black cockatoo is that they are zygodactal which means they can use their feet just like people use their hands. This enables them to be able to carry food or their chicks using their feet while they fly.
My animal is a Sand Cat . it is the smallest cat wild cat. they live in sandy , stony dersets . they live under the sand so they can be warm at night. the scientific name of my cat is felis margarita. they eat birds , reptiles , and arthropods. they grow hair on they're paws so they wont get burn from the sand. the sand cat is a cute and smart species.
sand cat mothers keep they're babies for 5 weeks . sand cats can live up to 13 years . its s hard to found a sand cat in the city becuse they like the hot sand . they are endangered because people use them as plants an they use them to trade for goods . they're food supple is run low too but sand cats are cool .
Isabel and I are doing the Siamang as our endangered Species. Baby Siamangs stay with there parents for the first five to seven years of there life. For the first year they cling to there mothers bellies. They eat Figs, Leaves, Fruit and insects. Siamangs scientific name is Symphalangus syndactylus. They live in Rainforests and Monsoon Forests. Siamangs are becoming extinct because they are getting killed and the babies are being sold. Many trees are being cut down and this is were Siamangs live. Lots of them don't have a place to live.
My animal is cute and very strong with its antlers it uses it to protects itself. My animal is a Red Deer and it mostly eats whortleberries and lives in grasslands but only the male red ddeers have antlers but the female deers dont have antlers :(.
The Red deer is a very nice animal but the only reason why the hunters kill them is for their antlers and they use their heads, antlers and fur as a furniture. They also hunt them down for their antlers to make some kind of ingredient thats like a soup which is very weird because i didnt knew that u can make and ingredient out of their antlers.
Siamangs are my animal. Siamangs are usually taught how to live in their early years by their parents. They stay with their parents for the first five to seven years of their life. For the first year of their life the cling to their mother’s belies. The Siamangs eat figs, leaves, fruit and insects. Lots of Siamangs are getting killed and the babies are getting sold just like what happened to the one in my story. This is one of the main reasons that Siamangs are endangered. Also, many of the trees are getting cut down and not all of them have a place to stay. Siamangs don't usually stay in one place for very long, though. they travel up to a mile every day. As far as I can tell, there is not a whole lot being done to protect Siamangs. other than being put on the endangered dpecies list, nobody really cares about them or know what they are. That is sad, because they are really cute and interesting.
My animal is the Burrowing Crayfish. It is a species that is indigenous to Australia, but was brought to the United States. It lives in the swamplands, and mainly eats worms, grubs, and decomposing trees and leaves. Strangely, it is considered a pest in the United States. This links indirectly to its vulnerability. Also, the Burrowing Crayfish burrows and constructs "chimneys" to house themselves and their young. The females carry their young and eggs under its tail. They can live with their parents for up to nine weeks. The animal is also known as Engaeus australus.
The animal that I have is the Black sea viper They live in the wet dry areas. They are located in Turkey, Geroge. what they use is to cameflush in the environment that there are in. When they are around 3-6 months of age, the female mother leaves the cub as soon as she believes that he/she is old enough to stand alone.
My animal eats reptiles, insects, and other small animals. The African Leopard usually comes in a goldish and brownish color. It lives in rain forests, and other forests. My animal is a prey of bigger cats. The big cats like lions love to eat The African Leopard. The poor African Leopard always hides in the trees. When and African Leopard is giving birth, the cub will be born in a tree depending on the African Leopards habitat.
