I have no idea how a bee colony functions or what it looks like. I know that people are concerned about bees going extinct because they pollinate flowers and make honey.
Colony collapse disorder is when the honeybees leave their hives and don't return back to them. people are really worried about the bees disappearing because they pollinate flowers, make honey, and help produce other foods such as apples, almonds, and watermelons. You can tell a bee is sick if their stomachs are worn down or if there is a lot of bacteria or fungi inside them. Some scientists think that there are repellents in the bee hives because a certain kind of chemical in a bug spray could damage the bee's brains and confuse it about where to go. Also, moths are waiting a few weeks to settle into empty bee hives to live. So there could be something repelling not only bees but also moths from the area. Genetic diversity helps a bee colony because if there are more diverse genes, at least some of the animals are likely to have specific genes that protect them from that disease and they wouldn't be harmed.
I think that colony collapse disorder is partly natural and partly people's fault. The bees probably do have some kind of parasite inside them that is screwing up their memory and causing them to forget where they live. But I think that there are also some damaging chemicals left by humans that partly contribute to the bees disappearance. I think the loss of bees is going to affect people a lot. First of all, its going to damage certain crops of flowers because the flowers won't get pollinated. Apples, watermelons, almonds, and other foods are also going to decrease because the bees helped produce them. A parasite is a tiny bug that lives in you and harms you. If a parasite lives in a bee, it can affect it's digestive system by eating some of the bees food. If the bee has a weak immune system, the parasite will continue to eat its food and its stomach will get really slim. An entomologist would be interested in bee's colony collapse disorder because they study insects and life behavior. An entomologist is someone who studies bugs and insects. If i had to study this topic, I would investigate the possible cause of other animals having an affect on the bees disappearance. Other animals such as bears, spiders, and birds, and other animals that live in the same environment as the bees do.
How do bee colonies function? What does a bee colony look like? What I think happens is that Bee’s leave their bee hive looking for honey, and then bring the honey back to their home. I think a bee colony is obviously yellow, the colony is connected, and has wholes on it.
Should people be concerned that bees are disappearing? Why or why not? I think people should be concerned that bee’s are disappearing is because most of the honey we buy comes from bee’s. And if bee’s are dying and disappearing then we wouldn’t have any more honey. And honey is really delicious.
Describe colony collapse disorder? Colony collapse is a serious concern because bees play an important role in the production of about one-third of the foods we eat, including apples, watermelons, and almonds. As they feed, honeybees spread pollen from flower to flower. Without this process, called pollination, a plant can't produce seeds or fruits.
Why are people concerned about the disappearance of bees? They make apples, honey, watermelons, almonds, and are used for some granola bars.
What signs indicate that the bees are sick? Well, theres parasitic bugs damaging the bugs digestive system, there’s bacteria in their body, and their having lots off memory loss.
Why do scientists believe there might be something repellent in the bee hives? There are few bees swarming the bee hives.
How does genetic diversity affect a bee colony? If you have more genes you have a higher chance of survival. It’s just like knowledge.
Do you think the bee disappearance is natural, or are people somehow to blame? Could both be true? Explain your reasoning. People are someone to blame because farmers sometime poison plants when bee’s come. Theirs a chance that farmers are responsible.
How do you think people will be affected by the loss of so many bees? People wouldn’t have much food, and there the bugs that help us. People will absolutely feel bad.
What is a parasite? How might a parasite damage a bee’s digestion? Well, parasites are a small, bug like substance. It could get in a bee, like germs get in humans, and do stuff bad while their inside.
Why would an entomologist (insect scientist) be interested in colony collapse disorder? What does an entomologist do? Their bug scientist, so if like a bug was getting instinct they would try to stop it, or if they have a disease, they would try to cure it.
. If you were going to study colony collapse disorder, what possible causes would you investigate? Why? I would investigate preys of the bugs, to understand their weakness. I would try to also find a cure for a bug that has a disease. I would do these stuff to help the human race, and also the bugs.- Ballamoussa Kourouma 6/7A
I think bee colonies function by pollinating flowers, making honey and reproducing more bees. It may look like a bee hive.
Colony collapse disorder is when a lot of bees are leaving their homes and they are never returning. People are concerned about the disappearance of bees because they play an important role in the production of about 1/3 of the foods we eat, including apples, watermelons and almonds. Without bees, plants can’t produce seeds or fruits. Signs that indicate bees are sick are that they don’t look healthy, their stomachs are worn down and there is fungi and bacteria inside their bodies. Scientists believe there may be something repellent in the bee hive because farmers sometimes spray a bug repellent so the bees will stay away and that affects the brain. The bees won’t remember how to get back to their colony. Genetic diversity affects a bee colony by some bees move into the bee hive that have a different gene and then the bees get lonely and want their own family back. They leave to go look for them and then forget their way back.
I think bee disappearance both natural and not natural meaning people are to blame. The natural reasons are because lots of animals become extinct and that is natural. I think people are to blame because they are polluting and hurting the environment and this can be killing the bees. People can be affected by the loss of the bees because they can die because bees help flowers and plants reproduce. Plants produce oxygen and without oxygen people can’t breathe. A parasite is a living creature that causes damage to another living thing. Parasites may cause disturbances in the bees behavior. An entomologist would be interested in colony collapse because he studies insects. He would be interested in studying about bees and trying to figure out why so many are missing and the reasons they leave their homes. If I were to study colony collapse, I would investigate the bug repellent because I’ve experienced that- using bug spray to keep bugs away so I don’t get bitten. It would be interesting to see if this has a bad effect on the bees. Then I would stop using it and deal with the bites.
I don't really know how bess colonies functions. I also don't know what a colony look like. But maybe that, they live in a hive and that maybe they huddle a lot or something. I think people should be concerned that bees are disappearing is because, even though bees sting and bother you, at the same time they pollinate flowers and also make honey. That bees make very sweet things so we are able to have sweet things. Like honey in some tea.
A colony collapse disorder is the honeybees are leaving their hives and they aren't able to return to their hives. People are concerned about the disappearance about the bees is because they play an important role of production of 1/3 of the foods we eat. Like apples. watermelons, and almonds. Honeybees spread the pollen from flower to flower. Without pollination, the plant wouldn't be able to produce seeds or fruits. Signs that shows that the bees are sick is that they have troubled immune system, have high levels of bacteria and fungi inside the bees. Some scientists thinks that there is something repelling the bees from their hives is that a type of chemical that farmer apply to kill the unwanted insects on the crops. That the chemical might affect the honeybee's nervous system (also the brain). The bee's get confused and gets lost of where they are going, and what they are doing. It is good for the bees colony is genetically diverse, it's less likely the colony will be wiped out completely from a sweeping infection or disease That's because at least some bees in a genetically diverse group are likely to have genes that help them resist any specific disease that gets into the colony.
I sorta think that the disappearance is a little bit of people to blame. It is because we are the ones to make chemicals to keep away bugs. That the chemical is a reason why bees are disappearing. Since we have made the chemicals, it has make the bees get confused, they aren't able to make it to their hive again. I think us, people, will be affected for the loss of the bees. A parasite is an organism that lives in one another. The parasite affects the bee is because the immune system fights off the parasites, and since the parasite is already in the immune system there must be something wrong with the immune system. An entomologist is probably interested in the colony collapse disorder is because that they can try to get the bees back into shape, and help the bees hives. That they are trying to have the bees go back to their jobs. And that figure out why this is happening. An entomologist is a branch of zoology concerned with the study of insects. That they study the behavior of the insects. If I had studied about this myself, I would investigate, the bees itself, so we can see what is going on to the bees, and what type of effects are happening to these bees. I would also investigate the hives itself, because to figure out why is the bees not making it? also to see what type of chemical maybe confusing these bees, so they aren't able to get back to their hives.
Before the reading
1: I know that bee colonies function by creating honey and going threw pollination. I don't know though what bee colonies look like.
2: I think that people should be concerned if a lot of bees disappear. I believe this because bees make honey and help flowers with pollination.
During the reading
1: There is a big problem Honeybees are leaving their hives and are not returning. Thus is called colony colapse disorder.
2: People are concerned about bees disappearing because they help produce 1/3 of the food we eat. Some examples of these food is apples, almonds, and watermelon. Without pollination flowers can't produce fruits or seeds.

5: Genetic Diversity affects a bee hive because if a bee colony is genetically diverse there is less of a chance that the colony will wipe out.
After the reading
1: I think that bees disappearing is both natural and peoples fault. I believe that it is natural because bees get sick and they have certain genes and they don't know if they want to go back or not. i don't know how the colonies function. the hive looks like a gray cone upside down with round ridges.
people should be concerned about the bees disappearing, the pollenate the stuff that the animals eat that we eat, if that stuff dies then the world will go hungry.

the colonies are collapsing because the bees are disappearing so they cant maintain the hives.
the people should be concerned like is said.
i don't know how the scientist think there is a repellent in the hive.
the genetic diversity affects the bee colony because if they don't maintain the hive they will all die, they then will have no home to stay in.

people have some part to blame, we are causing all the pollution and global warming so you could say that it is our fault.
people will be affected because they need the stuff bees have, honey is a medicine for the throat, but certain ones.
a parasite is a living ting that gets into a body and either sucks the blood, lays eggs,or spreads a disease, a tick is a parasite. it damages the bee because if it eats all the food of the bee it will die of hunger.
the scientist would be interested because he or she would want to know what is causing the problem and why. a entomologist finds the parts or the habits of a insects.
i would investigate on the smoke the person who takes of the hive is using and if there are less bees than before.

1. How do bee colonies function? What does a bee colony look like?
Bee colonies function by getting pollen and making honey for their colony. A bee colony looks like something you grate cheese on. It is square and round with lines going horizontal and vertical. It’s like a working station for bees.
2. Should people be concerned that bees are disappearing? Why or why not?
People should be concerned that bees are disappearing because that we will have less honey a popular item for humans to eat. We will most likely will be affected by many things and will be in loss of anything done by bees if they have disappeared.
Describe colony collapse disorder.
Colony collapse disorder is a serious dilemma because bees play a very important role in the production of food of about one-third of the foods we eat, including apples, watermelons, and almonds. Bees are what makes our community stronger. They are very helpful to our environment and help the way other animals adapt to their habitat or environment.
2. Why are people concerned about the disappearance of bees?
People are concerned about the disappearance of bees because bees have a effective role in our environment and we need them to help us make products. They are not harmful they are only helpful. They get pollen and make honey where we end up making the money so thank the bees for their hard work otherwise, we would have less money.
3. What signs indicate that the bees are sick?
Bees may be sick from collapsing colonies that don't look very healthy. Their stomachs are worn down, compared to the stomachs of healthy bees, Evans says. It may be that a parasite is hurting the bees' digestive organs. The bees’ ability to recover from such parasites suggests that their immune systems may not be working as well as they should be working. Bees could have their parasites eat their food which isn’t a good thing when bees are trying to producing food.
4. Why do scientists believe there might be something repellent in the bee hives?
Scientists believe there might be something repellent in the bee hives because the honeybees have other signs of dangerous immune systems, such as high levels of bacteria and fungi inside their bodies. This has caused major sickness to the bees. The bees may get unconscious and unfortunately eventually die sooner or later. Then we will have a loss of many things in our environment.
5. How does genetic diversity affect a bee colony?
Genetic diversity can affect the outcome of a bee colony by the more different genes a group of bees has, the higher the group's genetic diversity will increase. Genetic diversity is an improvement as far as survival is issued. Some scientists are now studying genetic diversity in honeybee colonies to see if it has an effect on colony collapse disorder. If a colony is normally diverse, it's less likely the colony will be wiped out completely from a sweeping infection or disease. This is a major infliction on bees.
1. Do you think the bee disappearance is natural, or are people somehow to blame? Could both be true? Explain your reasoning.
I think that colony collapse disorder is partly a natural stage of developing and partly people's fault. The bees most likely have some sort of parasite inside them that is damaging their memory and causing them to forget where their habitat is. But I am concluding that there are also some damaging chemicals left by humans that partly are what makes the bees start to disappear. I think the loss of bees is going to affect us humans’ people a lot by the way we make crops or the way we use honey. We don’t realize it but people are taking advantage of bees. They don’t mean to sting us, they help us.
libby walker 6/7/E CONT....
2. How do you think people will be affected by the loss of so many bees?
People will be strongly affected with loss of many bees because we won’t be able to eat apples, watermelons, and almonds which we take for granted and we don’t realize how hard the bees work to make these items. People will be having a bad affect on crops too.
3. What is a parasite? How might a parasite damage a bee’s digestion?
Parasite an animal or plant that lives in or on a host (another animal or plant); it obtains nourishment from the host without benefiting or killing the host. Parasite could damage a bee’s digestion by eating some of the bee’s food that a bee produces.
4. Why would an entomologist (insect scientist) be interested in colony collapse disorder? What does an entomologist do?
An entomologist would be interested in colony collapse disorder because they deal with learning about insects and the way they adapt in habitats. They learn about insect communities. An entomologist deals with insects.
5. If you were going to study colony collapse disorder, what possible causes would you investigate? Why?
If I was to study colony collapse disorder, I would most likely investigate the ways other insects and animals adapt to bees disappearing. I would investigate this because I want to see how one change in an outcome can possibly change the lives of living things throughout the ironic change.
1) How do bee colonies function? What does a bee colony look like?
What I think happens is that Bee’s leave their bee hive looking for honey, and then bring the honey back to their home. I think a bee colony is obviously yellow, the colony is connected, and has wholes on it.
2) Should people be concerned that bees are disappearing? Why or why not?
I think they should be concern because the bees help the flowers grow, if the bees were gone then the flowers or plants will die very fast. ALso because we love honey and with out the bees we won't have honey.
1)Describe colony collapse disorder.
Well, colony collapse is a serious concern because bees play an important role in the production of about one-third of the foods we eat, including fruits. As they feed, honeybees spread pollen from flower to flower. Without this process, called pollination, a plant can't produce seeds or fruits.

3) What signs indicate that the bees are sick?
You can see that bees are sick because their stomachs are worn down. Another way that you can see that bees are sick is that they have a high level of fungi and bacteria.
4)Why do scientists believe there might be something repellent in the bee hives?
Scientists believe that there might be something repellent in the bee hives because they are waiting many weeks before going into beehives.

The genetic diversity affects the bee colony because if they don't maintain the hive they will all die, they then will have no home to stay in.

I think that bees disappearing is both natural and peoples fault. I believe that it is natural because bees get sick and they have certain genes and they don't know if they want to go back or not. It is partly our fault because we put chemicals to kill other insects and bees leave because of that.
2) How do you think people will be affected by the loss of so many bees?
I believe that people will be affected by the loos of so many bees because they make honey and lots of food. We need them.
3)What is a parasite? How might a parasite damage a bee's digestion?

the scientist would be interested because he or she would want to know what is causing the problem and why. a entomologist finds the parts or the habits of a insects.
5)If you were going to study colony collapse disorder, what possible causes would you investigate? Why?
If I would to be studying colony collapse disorder. I would investigate environmental causes. I would investigate this because I want to learn more about the environment and I would like to go further into environmental causes on bees disappearing.
A bee colony looks like a series of hexagons that are naturally made by bees to house young, house themselves, and store food. I believe that, while we might not be concerned, we should be because we are also losing the supply of honey, and this makes less shops and farms able to process it for profit, therefor leading to the global recession.
Colony collapse disorder is when the bees that generally populate the hive leave the hive and do not return for reasons unknown. People are concerned about this because the bees pollenate fruits and plants such as apples, melons, and almonds.
Bees that are sick are usually noticable due to their thinner abdomens and feebler nervous systems.Scientists believe that there is a repellent in the bee hives because the bees keep leaving and seem to be deterred by the hive and its populatants. Genetic diversity also affects the bees because certain strains may be more or less resistant to either a repellent or a parisite.
I bewlieve that humans are to blame because these pesticides and the farms are manmade. It is not natural that these animals are leaving. I believe that humans will be affected by not having all of the necessary nutrients in their foods. It also will impact industry and the recession. A parisite is any animal that feeds off of a host. It steals nutrients, and in the bee's case, affects digestion, much like a tapeworm. An entomologist would be interested because they would see the interaction between humans and bees, bees and bees, and parisites and bees. They study the insects in their natural habitat to do this.
If I were to study this, I would try to somehow track the bees and see wherever they are going. I would do this to see if they are simply migrating or dying.
Before reading
A1. Bee colonies are formed by bees. They are also the home of bees.
A2. People should be concerned that bees are disappearing. Bees give us honey and pollinate flowers.
During reading
A1. colony collapse disorder is when bee colonies empty out and disappear.
A2. People are concerned that bees are disappearing because we need bees to pollinate flowers to grow fruits and vegetables.
A3. What shows that the bees are sick is if their colony looks healthy. Entomologist look to see if bee colonies are health inside.
A4. The hives keeps other insects out.
A5. Genetic diversity makes a bee colony harder to survive.
After reading
A1. I think nature is to blame for the disappearing of bee colonies. I think a good example is genetic diversity.
A2. A good example of people affecting the loss of bee colonies is when they tor them down like farmers.
A3. Parasites are little insects that live off of your body by eating up little by little.
A4. An entomologist is a person that studies insects. They could be interested in colony collapse disorder so they could study more about it and help bees.
A5. If I were to study colony collapse disorder I would mainly study on how often it comes. Then I would look for any kind of virus or deadly living thing the time when colony collapse disorder comes.
I think a bee colony functions by going out group by group to collect pollen.I think that they also look like a bunch of bees in a group.
People must probably care, because without bees there would be no honey. Also many food products we eat contain honey. Or at-least some honey.
1.Colony Collapse Disorder is when bees fully evacuate their habitats. It won't take much time for bees to evacuate. So it's a major problem.
2.People r very concerned that the bees are disappearing because bees are a big part of our food sources. For example:apples, watermelons, and almonds. Bees are a big part of producing parts of the food we eat.
3.Scientists look for the physical signs if a bee is sick or healthy. Some signs of a bee being sick are: That their stomachs are worn down, and that could be thought of as a parasite damaging a bees organs. Also other signs are problems in their immune systems.
4.They think that the sickness that the bees are getting is causing bees to behave weirdly. So bees may end up wandering away from their hives alone. Bees can barely survive alone. So it won't take much time until the bee dies. Also the bee might forget how to get back to it's hive.
5.It affects the bee colony by helping it survive. It helps by very rarely helping them not contain the disease from the other bees.
1. I think it is both sides fault because humans might be passing on our diseases onto the bees. So that might be the cause of the bees having a sickness and acting out of it's normal function. It is also possibly natural by the bees most likely already having the parasite inside of them.
2.People will be affected by the loss of the bees by losing a portion of our food source. So we will have less options of healthy food to survive on.
3.A parasite could be an insect that turns into a disease and spreads around it's host.Or it could be the disease altogether. A parasite might damage a bees digestion by taking control of parts of the bees body that back-up the system and ruin it.Almost basically messing it up entirely.
4.A entomologist is a type of scientist that studies insects. So it would make sense that those scientists would very much need to find out what is going on with the bees.
5.I would investigate the sickness that the bees are obtaining.I would investigate this cause because it is a huge part of the bees disappearing in large amounts.
Before reading: 1) I am pretty sure, from magic school bus, that there are worker bees and a queen bee. Queen bees lay the eggs, and worker bees leave the hive to get nectar from flowers. The nectar is made into honey by other worker bees, and fed to the bee babies (larvae). The bees do bee dancing to communicate. The colonies, I believe, look like giant orange mounds, called hives. There are honeycombs, hexagonal patterns made of hardened honey, where the honey is kept. (All information from magic school bus) 2) I have heard before that the bees are disappearing, but I thought that had been resolved over the summer. I was apparently wrong. (I guess getting stung by two bees is not a good way to collect data.) I think that, while bees are irksome with the stinging and such, we should be worried. Bees are an important part of our ecosystem. They help many plants, which helps us breath, which helps us LIVE. Also, the nutritious, delicious, honey! During reading: 1) colony collapse disorder is serious business. For some reason, bees are leaving there homes and never coming back. No card, no letter, no communication. Where have all the bees gone? 2) Bees are, like I said before, REALLY IMPORTANT. No bees, no pollination. No pollination, no flowers. No flowers, no oxygen. No oxygen, no us. But before we run out of oxygen, we will starve. Without bees, there is no pollination, and with no pollination, no fruits 'n veggies. No fruits and veggies, no vitamin c. no vitamin c, scurvy! 3) Scientists are doing teeny-weenie autopsies on the bees, and what they are finding is no muy bien. The bees have fungi (ew!) and bacteria (ew-er!) growing in them. the icky stuff is whacking out the little bee brains, giving them bee-amnesia, making them *forget* where home is. so, the bees aren't getting lost, they are just not able to remember where home is. poor bees... they can't survive on their own. 4) for some reason, as well, moths seem to know what's up. they wait before entering beehives to make their homes. Up to weeks, which must mean there is something in the beehives... 5) luckily, the bees might not be doomed! The scientists think that is the bees genes are different enough, only some will get whatever the disease is, and others will be able to fight it. Isn’t that just the bee's knees? (Hahahaha pun intended.) After reading: 1) I think that this is our fault, but also fate. This is nature warning us not to be so careless and stupid. So the bee disappearance is natural, but also our fault. We must care more for our ecosystem. 2) WE WILL DIE. Which is, in any case, true, but in this instance, it might be our own fault. The bees are a HUGE part of our environment. They literally mean the world to us. As I have explained many times, we depend on bees for the simplest of things. 3) Parasites are creatures that feed off others. They could be harmful to bees because that is what parasites are. Harmful. The bees will lose energy and not be able to function. Once the parasite is full, the bee is empty. Dead. 4) An entomologist is a scientist who likes bugs. Seeing as the entomologists like the bugs, and the bees are bugs, entomologists are VERY interested in the bee debacle. Entomologists study, record information about, and help bugs. 5) If I was an entomologist, I would investigate chemicals in beehives and bug sprays. People put on bug spray and it gets in the air, and it is fatal to bugs, so a bee could fly right through a cloud of it. This could produce the effects seen in bees. These chemicals could have migrated to beehives, contaminating more vulnerable bees.
1Describe colony collapse disorder.
Colony colapse diorder is when the the bees leave thier hives and dont know how to return home. This is very bad because bees help people produce about one third of the foods we eat. the bees have some kind of sickness that sientists are not sure is the cause of.
Bees help produce a lot of our food. They also polinate our flowers and if they dissaper who knows what will heppen.People might die.
3. What signs indicate that the bees are sick? When a bee is sick its stomach is smaller that healthy bees. There is also fungi inside them. Sientist know that the bees cant find their way home, this might be a reaction from the cemicals on the plants they polinate.
sientists are not sure what the reppelent thing in bee hives are but the are soon to find out.
5. How does genetic diversity affect a bee colony? If a colony is genetically different, it's less likely the colony will be wiped out completely from a sweeping infection or disease. The more different the bee the lesslikly for the colony to die.
1. I think that in a colony some bees mate with the queen and some bees go and collect pollen for the colony to feed on. The colonies in look like bumpy domes on the outside and octoganal shapes on the inside.
2. Yes, bees pollinate flowers and if bees are disappearing flowers, fruits and plants are disappearing too.
3. It is when the bees in the hives disappear. And never return. The colony collapse disorder is bad because without pollination many fruits won’t grow. Gradually our food supply will grow smaller.
4. People are worried that their favorite foods will disappear right along with those tiny bees that hold so much of our future. They are afraid that their food will become scarce if we don’t fix this problem.
5. Their immune systems are not strong enough and their stomachs are worn down. Some scientists think that chemicals from plants are making them sick.
6. When the bees have to move into a new place they wait longer than they should. “Usually, they move right into an empty hive,” he says “but now they’re waiting several weeks before they do” some think they find something objectionable in the other hives.
7. Genetic diversity is good for the bee colonies because it protects against disease. If one bee was sick and then mates with another bee who is from the same family then the offspring will probably get sick. If this keeps happing and the disease is contagious soon the hive will be bee free.
8. I think that it is NOT natural. It is probably because of pollution or sprays that we use to protect our gardens, possibly hurts or poisons the bees. I don’t think that it could be both because nature doesn’t drive bees away from their homes normally.
9. People would not be fond if entomologists gave up because gradually fruit would disappear. People will try and help. Some will probably protest. Bees will become endangered and honey will be scarce.
10. A parasite is a living thing living inside another living thing. The reason why it could be dangerous because if the parasite is a disease which it often is, it could get the whole hive sick.
11. They would want to know what was happening with the bees and want to make sure the bees are all not sick. Our world relies on bees and it is the entomologist’s job to take care of the insects so we rely on them too.
12. I would investigate the other hives and test for chemicals. Then I would figure out why the bees wouldn’t move into new homes. I would raise my own colony of bees to see how the parasites were growing and so on.
1.it is when honey bees leave their hives and dont return .
2.because bees play in a big part in the foods we eat without the process called pollination a plant cant produce seeds of fruits therefor we would not be able to enjoy apples, watermelon, and many othe fruits.
3.because they dont look healthy their stomachs are worn down and they have high levels of bacteria and fungiinside their bodies.
4.because bees usally move into a empty hive but now theyare waitingweeks to go to the hive scientist believe that the repellent in the hive may be driving out bees and keeping insects from moving in.
5.it will be wiped out completely from sweeping infection of dieseas.
after reading
1.i think it is people somehow to blame because it say how farmers apply to kill unwanted insects on crops. so now it seems to be that honey bees are confused about where to go.
2.we would be affected by it because bees play an important role in production and without them we would not be able to plant certain seeds for fruits.
3.parasite is an animal or plant that lives in or on ahost(another animal or plant)it obtains nourishment from the host with out benefiting or killing the host.parasite can damage a bee digestion by their stomachs looking very unhealthy and their stomas are warn down.
4.an entomologists is a scientist that studies about insectsand obsoebs the things that is happening.
5.the possible causes that i would investegate are chemicals that farmers use because the things that theu are using is not good for bees and not good for us so i would like to see what chemical they are using and find out so mayb there can b something to do about it.
Well i think the how bee`s function is just like the ants in a way they collect honey they work really hard and they take care of the queen bee. Well how it would look like? Yellow and will have lots of honey and tons of bees with a pentagon shape on the whole hive.People should be concered about the bees because they do pollinate slowers and they also make honey which with the honey we eat from.
well the callapse disorder is bad becuase they produce honey and theu pollunate flowers and flowers have fruit so from the flower the fruit that we are eating now will be gone.
well if the stmach of the bee if it is worn down and looks sort of diffrent from the other bee's
the Chemicals that the farmers use that kills insect effects the bee's and from there also effects the honey.
How it affect them is the chemicals the kills insects can get into the hive and make it bad or pisonous.
well if could be the farmers fault for all the chemical they use to kill insects.
poeple will get affected because there will be no more fruit of apples, almonds, and watermelons well not much of apples but the rest yeah.
a parasite can damage a bee digestion from the inside and make it really worn down.
they would be interested in bee's because they study alot about them and try to make them alive and their colony better.
the chemicals the farmers use to kill insect.
Before Reading:
1. I don't know how a bee colony functions or what it looks like but I think a bee colony is a group of bees, but I have no idea what it looks like.
2. People should definitely be worried or concerned that bees are disappearing because bees do a lot of different things that humans either use or need. Bees make honey, fruits, and they pollinate flowers, but the reason why people don't want bees are because they are annoying and they sting people.
During Reading:
1. A colony collapse disorder is when a honeybees leave their hives and never go back.
2. People are concerned for the bees because of what they do. They play an important role in making apples, watermelons, and almonds. They also pollinate flowers.
3. Signs that indicate that the bees are sick includes their stomachs being worn down and bacteria and fungi inside their bodies.
4. Scientists believe that something repellent is in the hives because the honeybees are confused and don't know where to go and other insects don't want to move into their hives. This all comes from the nervous system.
5. Genetic diversity affects a bee colony because it makes the colony less likely to be wiped out completely from a sweeping infection or disease.
After Reading:
1. I think that people are somewhat to blame for this incident because people do spray repellent and things like that in bee hives and on themselves.
2. First, people won't think anything happened but then they would realize that so many bees would disappear because the supply of the fruits honeybees supply would be low.
3. A parasite is an organism that damages a host or does not affect it. I don't know how a parasite might damage a bee's digestion.
4. An entomologist would be interested in a colony collapse disorder because it is a mystery and it could help them in the future to understand bees more or prevent it from happening. A entomologist studies insect of all kinds.
5. If I was to study a colony collapse disorder I would investigate the environment, their hives, the honey they produce, and the path in which they fly because they are all clues to finding out what is going on with them and what they produce and do.
Befor Reading.
1.I think that bees funtion by how they work together and help the queen bee. I don't know how the bee colony looks like but its a ball that has honey in it. Inside the honey ball there must be the babies from the bee queen.
2.They should be concerned that bees are disappearing because they are the only thing that help the flowers be alive.
During Reading.
1.The colony collapse is a important role for the bees. The bees help us give 1/3 of the food we eat including fruit. The bees also feed of the fruit so they can pollinate. The bees fruit pollen from the flower. Colony collapse is what how bees disappear.
2.People are concerned about the disappearing bees because the bees make more flowers and help flowers. They also help us have food like fruit. Without the bees putting the seeds out, the plants can;t make seeds or fruits.
3.One of the signs that indicate that the bees are sick by bacteria and fungi are in their body. There immune system may not work. And the fungi and bacteria will make the bee not go back to the hive.
4.They think that because the scientists are seeing that the bees are leaving the hive by the fungi inside them. But they don;t know what is the repellent is yet.
5.It affects the bee colony by the disease it has and surviving it. It makes the fungi more powerful so that the bees would not go back to it's hive.
After Reading
1.I think that we should blame the people because they are taking the honey and giving the bees the fungi. Both of them should not be true. It should not be true because the bees are not naturaly disappearing and that the people are blamed which is true.
2.They will be affected by no plantation and no food or fruit. The plants will die and there would not be any seeds.
3.A parasite is a affection to the bees. The parasite will damage the bees body by the fungi and bacteria. It will also affect the hive too.
4.A entomologist is interseting about the bees because they want to find out what does a colony colapse disorder do. He wants to find out how this inffection do to the bees and to the hive. A entomologist do is that they absord the specie they are studying and looking.
5.The possidle cause that could happen is that I would find that the bees have a disease that makes them not come back to the hive. I would find that because I would see that how the bees are not coming and no seeds or fruit are growing.
1)I don't know how bee colonies function but i know that bees live in hives.
2)Yes i do think that people should be concerned that bees are disaparing because bees make honey and alot of people need, use honey.Like my grandmother puts honey in her tea to help her with her stomach ache.So i think its very important if we have bees.
3)Colony collapse disorder is when the bees leave their hives and don't return.
4)People are concerned about the disaparing bees because bees play an important role in production of 1/3 of our food we eat.Honeybees spread pollen from flower to flower so without this process a plant can't produce seeds or fruits.
5)Sighns indicate that the bees are sick because their stomach are worn down, parasite is damaging the bees digestive organ, and the honeybees immune system have a high level of bacteria and fungi inside their bodies.
6)scientists believe that there is something repellent in the bees hives because the bees are leaving their hives and are not staying in them.
I think that people are to blame for the bees disapearences because of how we treat nature and our surroundings. It affects those bees and their habitat in a big way.
I think people are most concerned about the production of the food that the bees help make like almonds, honey, watermelons, and apples.
I would investigate what parasites are getting the bees because that’s what are killing the bees as well as colony collapse disorder.
Before reading
1)Bees function by pollonating flowers and making honey and spreading the pollen around the flowers.
2)Yes people should be concerned because bees pollinate flowers and plants. And without bees we wouldn't have fruits and vegatables.
During reading
1)Colonie collapse disorder is when all the bees start to leave their hives and they dont come back.
2)People are concerned because without bees we would run out of plants and fruits and vegatables. Because all the bees spread pollen that they collect from other flowers. We need pollen to help the plants to stay alive. Pollen to plants is like water and food, and nutrents.
3) What indecates the Bees being sick is that they leave their hives and don't know what to do. Because when Bees leave their hives they instantly know what to do.
4) Scientist think there is repelent in the Bees hives because Bees are leaving their homes and not returning. Also their leaving their hives and not knowing what to do.
5) Genetic diversity helps if there are if there are more than one diverse genes because it will protect the bees from whatever is aking them sick.
After reading
1) I think the Bees diseapering is for people to balme. I think that because bees dont just diseaper there has to be something causing it.
2)People will be affected by if there aren't any bees then they'll be no one to pollenate all the flowers, and plants, and fruits, and vegatables. So with out all that we couldnt have any nice fruits and vegatables. Also we wouldnt have any flowers. Without plants such as trees we would all die.
3)Parasite is kind of like a germ people and animales have inside of them. Parasite eats up all the food inside of you and makes you really slim. Sometimes if you have to much parasite inside of you it could make you sick.
4)Entomologist would be intrested in the bees getting sick because entomologist study Bees human nature and what they do and how they act.
5) If I was going to study bees colonycollapse disorder I would think that something was going on in the bee colony and that bees were getting sick. Or maybe there was some kind of cemical going around the hive changing the lifestyle of bees.
I think that bee colonies are set up with a wall of bee hive like material to allow bees to make honey. It probably looks like a bee hive spread out on a small wall. People should be concerned about bees disappearing since they play a big roll in nature. They spread pollen and they make honey.
Colony collapse disorder is when all the bees living in a hive leave and never return.
People are concerned about the disappearance of bees since they play an important role in the production of one-third of the food we eat. Honey bees are also a big part of pollination. Bees spread pollen when they feed off a flower then mover to another. Signs that indicate a bee is sick are its stomach is worn down and there are high levels of fungi and bacteria found in their body's. Scientists believe there is a repellent in the bee hive since other incests stay away from the hive at least a few weeks before making it their new home. Genetic diversity affect bees since the bees different genes help them resist any specific disease.
I think people are to blame for bee disappearance since farmers put chemicals on different crops to try to keep incests away, which can be making the bees sick. Also this has only been happening recently, if it happened before all the different chemicals started being used, then it would be natural. I think people will be heavily affected by the lost of bees since they are an important role in the production of one-third of the food we eat, like watermelons and apples. A parasite is a small bug that eats and damages just about everything it can. A parasite could damage a bees digestion by eating it's stomach an any other organs in a bee's body. An entomologist studies bees and other incests. They would be interested in colony collapse disorder since they can easily solve it by using the knowledge they gather by studying bees. Also bees play a major part in nature and our lives so it would be pretty bad to lose them. If I was going to study colony collapse disorder I would look for disease and and any type of repellent in the bee hives since those seem to be the most likely causes of colony collapse disorder.
Before Reading: I don't know how bee colonies function or how a bee colony looks like. I think that people should be concerned that bees are disappearing because it's our main honey source they also pollinate our flowers so it would be a big loss if they became extinct.
During Reading:
1. Colony collapse disorder is when bees leave their hives and never come back.
2. People are concerned that bees are disappearing because one-third of the foods we eat, including apples, watermelons, and almonds are produced by bees. Bees also pollinate flowers.
3. In bees bacteria and fungi inside their bodies which make them sick. Sick bees stomachs are worn down unlike healthy bees.
4. Scientists think there is repelent in the Bees hives because Bees are leaving their homes and not returning. Also their leaving their hives and not knowing what to do.
5. Genetic Diversity affects a bee hive because if a bee colony is genetically diverse there is less of a chance that the colony will wipe out
After Reading:
1. I think that it's our fault because before we made the chemicals and used them bees were not disappearing so just for it to start now it must be our fault.
2.People will be affected by if there aren't any bees then they'll be no one to pollinate all the flowers, and plants, and fruits, and vegatables. So with out all that we couldn't have any fruits and vegatables. Also we wouldnt have any flowers.
3. A parasite is something that lives of of one other thing. A parasite can be a bug inside you. It might damage a bees digestion because it can be a bug inside you. This might be the case with bees.
4. An entomologist would be interested in bee's colony collapse disorder because they study insects and life behavior. An entomologist is someone who studies bugs and insects.
5.If I was going to study colony collapse disorder I would look for disease and and any type of repellent in the bee hives since those seem to be the most likely causes of colony collapse disorder.
1. I think people put bees in a container and they make honey. Then the people take the honey and eat it or sell it. I think a bee colony looks like drawers and a lot of bees are kept in each one.
2. Yes, people should be concerned because bees help pollinate flowers. If the bees disappear then there is going to be nothing to pollinate the flowers and then eventually the flowers will die.
1. Honeybees are leaving their hives and not coming back. 25 to 40 percent of the honeybees in the United States have disappeared from their hives since last fall. But no one knows why.
2. People are very concerned about the disappearance of bees because bees help make about 1/3 of the foods we eat, including apples, almonds, and watermelons. Without bees a plant can’t produce seeds or fruits.
3. The bees might be sick because their stomachs are worn down. They say it might be a parasite damaging the bees’ digestive organs. Since the bees couldn’t fight off the parasites suggests that their immune systems may not be working properly. Also a lot of bacteria and fungi are inside their bodies are signs of bad immune systems.
4. One cause of the bees leaving and not coming back is because of certain chemicals farmers use to kill unwanted insects on their crops. Scientists say that a certain type of insecticide affects the bees nervous system and memory so they leave and they don’t know where to go or what to do. Scientists think there is something repellent in the bee hives that makes bees leave and keeps other insects from moving in.
5. If bee colonies are genetically diverse, it’s less likely the colony will be wiped out from an infection or disease because at least some bees in a genetically diverse group are likely to have genes that help them resist any specific disease that gets into the colony.
1. I think people are to blame and in some ways its natural. It’s their fault that they put chemicals in plants that bees pollinate. Even though they are protecting their crops, they shouldn’t do that. They should put their plants in a green house. But I don’t know if that’s what is causing them to disappear. It could also be a natural disease among bees and maybe most bees’ immune system cant fight it off.
2. People will be affected by the loss of so many bees because without bees nothing will give pollen to the flowers and then if the flowers don't pollinate, there are no seeds. If there are no seeds, then about 1/3 of the food we eat is going to go away.
3. A parasite is something that lives off of another living thing. A parasite might damage a bees digestion by disrupting its normal digestive track. The parasite might eat something the bee needs. If the bee has a weak immune system the parasite will eat the bees food and if the bee doesn’t get enough food then its stomach will get thinner.
4. Entomologists are interested in colony collapses because so many foods depend on bees and if bees go extinct then they cant give flowers pollen. And If flowers don’t get pollen, then they cant make seeds. And if they cant make seeds, then a lot of fruits will go extinct. Entomologists are scientists that study insects.
5. If I was going to study colony collapse disorder, I would investigate in the chemicals from the crops because I think that’s what is causing the bees to leave and not come back. I think I would also like to investigate the parasite theory because I think that’s possible too.
I think that a bee colonies function as being all together picking at flowers to make honey. They must look like a million together. Yes people should be concerned about bee disappearing because they make honey and we need honey!!!
Colony Collapse disorder is the vanishing percent of the honey bees fron their hives since last fall till now. People are concerned about disappearing of bees because they play an important role in the production of foods we eat and spread pollen flower to flower without this plant can't produce seeds and fruits. The signs that indicate that bees are sick are the stomachs are worn down, high levels of bacteria and fungi. Scientiest believe there might be something repellent in the bees hives because usually the bees move right into an empty hive and now they are waiting several weeks before they do. Genetic diversity affect a bee colony because a genetc diversity is a plus as far as survival is concern in any group as in bees or other animals
I think that the bees disapperance could be both natural and some how people to blame because it can be a genic thing in the bees genes and it also can be insecticide used by farmers applied to kill unwanted insects on crops People will be affected by the loss of so many bees by the production of fruits, and plants.
A parasite is a bactiria. A parasite can damage a bees digestion by making the stomach worn down. An entomologist is interested in the colony collapse disorder because is a mysteria of not knowing why the bees are never returning to their hives.Entomologist study insects.
Genetic diversity affect a bee colony because it can determine the survival chances.
I think bee colonies function by having bees go to flowers and bringing pollen to the queen bee. I don't know what it looks like. People should be concerned about them because bees pollinate flowers.
1. The colony collapse disorder is when bees leave thier hives and don't come back to them.
2. People are concerned about them disappearing because bees are important in producing one- third of what we eat. They also pollinate flowers, which flowers need to create flowers and fruit.
3. Signs indicating the bees are sick are that their stomachs are worn down or have fungi or bacteria in them.
4. Scientists believe that there might be a repellent in hives because bees aren't going back to their hives. Also because insects that raise young in empty beehives aren't raising them there.
5. Genetic diversity affects them because if a disease comes to bees that are genetically diverse, some bees will have genes that protect them from the disease. More will survive.
1. I think the disappearance is partly natural and partly because of humans. I think so because genetic disorders are affecting bees, but chemicals in bug spray are also. The bees also probably have a parasite, and that could be natural or from humans.
2. I think people will be affected by not having as much fruit or flowers. There probably won't be a lot of different fruits, since bees pollinate most flowers that make fruit. The amount of plants that bees pollinate will go down a lot.
3. A parasite is a little bug that lives in you. A parasite could damamge a bee's digestion because a parasite could go into their digestive system and eating food in it. The parasite would grow, and eat more from the bee. It would make the bee thinner.
4. An entomologist would be interested in the colony collapse disorder because they study insects. Bees are insects, and they would want to find out what is happening to bees, since bees are so important.
5. If I were to study colony collapse disorder, I would investigate to see if there were parasites in the bees and why they were there. I would investigate that because it can affect the bees' digestive systems, and that could lead to the other problems and why they happen.
Before Reading
1) I believe they function by bees eating honey and producing baby bees. A bee colony looks like a beehive.
2) Yes, people should be concerned because they’re an important part to our flowers. There the ones who help create the pollination stage, so that is why we should be concerned.
The colony collapse disorder is a very simple but important matter. The whole thing with the colony collapse is bees are leaving their hives and not coming back, which is very serious. It all like a corrupt government in the human world so people leave and doesn’t return. So the problem with the bees is that their leaving and not returning, for certain reasons. Like there getting sick or something is harming or bothering them so that means that they got to go. Chemicals and fungi. So then when the bees leave other bees leave so then that is how the collapsing disorder works. The colonies start having a collapse since many leave and they cant have a colony with a little bit of bees. The reason why people are scared about bees disappearing is because they’re important to our flowers. They’re a big part to our pollinating stage. Then our flowers will be in danger and it’s a whole dominoes affect. That is why people are concern. Some signs that indicate bees are sick are weak stomachs. Because the sickness will spread and the repellent the scientist are using for the crops and ect, are hurting many of the bees. I believe people should be blamed for this because they spay stuff with bad chemicals but also natural causes. Like parasites but I think it could be both. I don’t believe people necessarily will be affected but nature would. Like I sad bees are a big part of the flower stage so then our flower population would go down which would affect the people and a whole ripple affect. It would affect the people because without out flowers there would be a lot of changes so yes people would be affected by the disappearance of bees. A parasite is a tiny bug that lives in you and hurts you. If a parasite lives in a bee, it can affect its inside of its stomach. If the bee has a weak stomach, the parasite will keep eating its food and its stomach will get small. That’s a parasite and that is what it does. I don’t know but entomologist would be interested in this because it’s an interesting and weird. I don’t know what entomologist means. How the bees work and its habitat.
I think how a bee colony work is that the work is divided among the bees. There is the bees that collect pollen. There is the bees that make honey inside the hive. Then there is the mother bee that lays al the eggs.I do think people should be concerned about bees disappearing because it could affect human life. The pollen travels to plants including trees which gives us oxygen. No pollen, no plants, no oxygen, no breathing for us.
Colony collapse disorder is when bees leave their have and does not come back. People are concerned about the bees disappearing because they play a big part in our lives. They pollinate flowers and plants for us. We need that for seed and fruits. Some signs that bees are sick is that they are growing fungi inside of their bodies. Also how they have trouble with their immune system. Some say that if the bees are sick they are leaving their hive and forgetting how to get back, so they don't come back. When bee farmers put spray in bee hives to kill unwanted insects the chemicals might
affect the bees too, it affects their nervous system which includes the brain. Scientist says that genetics diversity could affect colony collapse disorder.
I think people are to blame of bee disappearance because the things we do. When we see a bee we panic and try to kill it. I also think because of pollution, and the environment change. We would have less fruit and seeds if we lose to many bees. Then their would not be enough then the fruit will only be for the high class and the lower class would began to develop a bad immune system. A parasite is a insect that feeds on blood. That can be affecting bees' digestion system because some of those insects can get to the bees and suck their blood so that way they do not have enough to really function. I think entomologist are interested in this because they are interested in insects and that is what bees are a type of insect. So entomologist are trying to find out what causes the problem so they can save the insect type(bees).I think I would investigate, if I was going to study colony collapse disorder, that pollution is one of the problems because sometimes that is what the problem really is sometimes.
Colony collapse disorder is when bees leave their hives and they never go back to it. People are concerned about the bees leaving because bees collect pollen and go to different plants to pollinate them and some of the plants make apples and watermelons. You can tell bees are sick if their stomach is worn down and it doesn't look healthy, or if they have a lot of fungi and bacteria. They think repellents are in the bee hives because there's a chemical in bug spray.
I think that colony collapse dis order is partly natural and partly people's fault. Some bees could get sick, but humans are also spraying them with bug spray and that could confuse them. I think people will be affected by the loss of bees because bees pollinate other plants which that plant might make food like apples and watermelons. Parasites are tiny insects thst csn hsrm you s lot. It could damage a bees' immune system by eating some of the food in it's stomach. An entomologist would be interested in colony collapse disorder becuase they study insects. Entomologists are scientists who study insects. If I studied colony collapse disorder, I would investigate humans using bug spray. I would want to see if it does happen that bees don't come back.
1) I dont know what a bee conlony looks like and how they function. 2) Yes they should because bees pollinate folwers and they also make honey and that concerns alot of plant around the world.
1) when the honey bees are leaving and never returning.
2)People are concerned because bees make up one thrid of the foods we eat because with out pollination then the flowers can not produce seeds.
3) The signs are of dissapearing bees and that the insides of their stocmichs dont look like heathy bees should because their stocmichs are worn down on the inside.
4) Scientist belive this because no other insect is moving in so the repellent is repelling the bees and any other incest that comes along.
5) This affects bees because if the bees genes are diffrent then thoses bees have a btter chance of sirvial.
1)I think they could both be true because the desies is part of the reason and so is the repellents so they are both to blame.
2) Their will be a loss of some of the food because the bees pollinate those folwer and now what do they have now?
3) A parsite is something that feeds off another and destroys what in its way. If the parsite is in the bees stomich then it will ware it out because it is so small.
4) they collect information about in cests and bees are incests too so that would be and instrest to them.
5) the same that the sicentist are right now because those are all posible reasons for the bees diaperence.
3: You can see that bees are sick because their stomachs are worn down. Another way that you can see that bees are sick is that they have a high level of fungi and bacteria.
4: Scientists believe that there might be something repellent in the bee hives because they are waiting many weeks before going into beehives.
5: Genetic Diversity affects a bee hive because if a bee colony is genetically diverse there is less of a chance that the colony will wipe out. After reading 1.
Julia Candea 6/7E
1. How do bee colonies function? What does a bee colony look like?
Well they live in groups and they go around and pollinate flowers fruits vegetables etc. And this is called pollination. Well colonies are supposed to be a large group of honeybees close up to each other and they live in hives.
2. Should people be concerned that bees are disappearing? Why or why not?
Yes they should because they make up 1/3 of the foods we eat. And if there aren’t bees then we would have much less or none of the foods that they help produce. Such as apples, watermelons, almonds and many flowers also.
Describe colony collapse disorder.
Well its is that the colonies of bees or it can be any type of animal is collapsing meaning there are much fewer amounts of those colonies and its disordered because we don’t know why its happening.
2. Why are people concerned about the disappearance of bees?
Because they are very important to us because they make up 1/3 of the foods we eat. And they are very important to not just us but to other creatures also including plants.
3. What signs indicate that the bees are sick?
Well many bees are disappearing there stomachs are worn down they don’t look to healthy. They have a high amount of parasites and fungi inside of them. This can cause them to be disorientated and then they don’t know were home is.
4. Why do scientists believe there might be something repellent in the bee hives?
Scientists believe that it can be a certain chemical that farmers use to repel other unwanted insects on there crops.
5. How does genetic diversity affect a bee colony?
Well it is less likely that it can wipe out an entire population of bees. Because there are some groups that can resist a infection or disease and this just means that some won’t be able to survive but some will and this is because of genetic diversity.
1. Do you think the bee disappearance is natural, or are people somehow to blame? Could both be true? Explain your reasoning.
Yes I think humans are to be blamed because we are using so many chemicals on our crops that of course it’s going to be harmful to the bees and other important insects as well. It’s natural for some parasites to be on your crops. And we are over reacting and putting so many chemicals on our crops. I think that humans should be more careful because if there not then this is what will happen.
2. How do you think people will be affected by the loss of so many bees?
I think we will also wipe out many types of plants and we humans can also die from the lack of food. We humans will be terribly harmed by the loss of so much nutrition’s that come from out foods.
3. What is a parasite? How might a parasite damage a bee's digestion?
Well a parasite can be that they will lose information like were there home is or forget how to get back to your hive. Meaning they will have trouble prossesing information and they will be confused.
4. Why would an entomologist (insect scientist) be interested in colony collapse disorder? What does an entomologist do?
Well they study insects so they will be interested in why this is happening and what the cause of the colony collapse disorder.
5. If you were going to study colony collapse disorder, what possible causes would you investigate? Why?
I would investigate the chemicals people put on there crops to see if any part of that chemical is dangerous to these insects I would also investigate the fungi and parasites that the bees have in them and see were its coming from I would also like to investigate were there going.
