Write one paragraph summary and a one paragraph reaction. This article is about how people ship the tulips, and how beautiful they experienced it to be when they growed. 80% the tulips were first grown in the Netherlands. After that they shipped it into America. You have to plant into the fall , and you need to get good drainage in order for it too grow. It will be suprising if you planted a tulip, and watched it grow. I wonder how people get good drainage?
People got suprised as it bloomed and showed its beauty. I saw the beauty of this plant, and one day I wish to experience this amazing plant. This plant is so special that the country exports more than 700,000,00 bulbs! It will take a long time to get bulbs because you have to wait for the mother bulb to make a baby bulb. This flower is the most interesting flower that I learned from in the 7th grade. I would like to see how it looks like the mother bulb giving birth to a baby bulb?- Ballamoussa Kourouma

This article is about how 80% of tulips are from the Netherlands. The Netherlands sends about $700 million worth of tulips. To keep the plant healthy you have to plant it in the fall. You will also need good drainage so that it can grow.
I was very surprised when I found out that 80% of our tulips came from the Netherlands. I was extremely shocked when I found out that the Netherlands sends about $700 million worth of tulips. Why do more tulips grow in the Netherlands than in America?
An article about tulips? i said when i started. but tulips are actually very interesting. I've always known that tulips come in many, many varieties, but 1,700? the article is about tulips, how they grow, and where they are grown. the one question i have? why do tulips need a cold winter and a hot summer? that seems like the opposite of what a plant should get.
“Tulips! Tulips! Tulips! Horticulture Engineers Take Years To Carefully Grow Bulbs” is about different types of tulips and that the tulip capital is in Holland. It explains that people in Holland have been expierenced planting tulips for over 400 years. They grow in spring and lat the whole rest of the year. It explains what tulips are, how they grow, and about Tulip Mania.
My reaction to this blog is surprised because I didn’t know that most tulips came from Holland. One question that I have is why in Holland? Couldn’t it be in New York or something? Is it because of the warm weather?

People think that tulips are bright, bold and beautiful. The tulip is so special that the country exports more than 700,000,00 bulbs! I think that this is a very unique and lovley happy mooding flower. It will take a long time to get bulbs because you have to wait for the mother bulb to make a baby bulb. I wonder what it would look and feel like to se a mother bulb giving birth to her little bulb.
This article is about tulips. I learned a lot about tulips from this article. For example, about 80% of tulips come from Holland. Tulips need cold winters and hot summers to grow. There are 1,700 varieties of tulips. "Offsets" are clones that are made of the tulips. Offsets take about a year to grow and a tulip that you grow from a seed can take from 5 to 7 years.
I had a lot of reactions to this article. I didn't know that not only tulips grow in Holland, but also in southern Europe, North Africa and Asia. I was also surprised that tulips are the national flower of Iran and Turkey. I never knew that they took so long to grow and that there are so many different types of tulips. A question that I have is: is it possible that only 25,000 tulips are grown a year, like the article says? Is 25,000 varieties of tulips or what? Is it true that it is that little of an amount?
This article is about growing the tulips, and facts about them. When is the best time to grow, and facts of how you should grow them. How the tulips were very popular in the 17th century. The article also showed the process of how they did the tulips. It takes a while for the tulips to grow but they come out as amazing flowers.
I learned that 80% of the tulips come from the netherlands. I also learned that there are about 1,700 varieties of tulips. Tulips need both dry and cold weather so the tulips can grow, and takes up to 5 years to grow. The best kind of results of the tulips is that you can plant the in the fall. Tulip is the national flower for Iran and Turkey. I wonder why the tulip is called a tulip, like does tulip mean something? Why does it take so long to grow?

This artical is about tulips being grown in Holland. Reporters aked people that grow the tulips how to grow them. It takes many years to grow them, but a grower says it just takes time.
I am amazed on how 80% of tulips are made in Holland. Also that it takes so many years to grow them. My question is why does it take 20 years to grow a tulips with one seed?
Tulips
This artical is telling you about tulips and what type of sources they grow in and how to grow them. Also how they grow. Tulips should be grown in the fall because they take a while to grow. Like They take 3 years before the bulb forms. And before it grows it grows a mother the daughter snd stough before it really starts to grow above the soil. Tulips are an amount of 100 species of flowering plants. they grow in Holland (Netherland). There are 1,700 tulips and 80% percent come. They said that in winter to keep in the refregirator for 10 weeks. If it takes them so long to grow i wonder how they produce under ground?
This article is about tulips . In the the article it talks about how to grow tulips and how long it takes. It says that Holland brings in about $700 million dollars in revenue for the tulips. It also says that first over a year tulip seeds must be harvested then they are to get a cold winter and a dry summer. It takes five years to create a tulip bulb.
I thought this was a very good article and it shows that growing plants and flowers isn't as easy as it seemed. I also liked this article because i think that the tulip is such a cool plant because it takes to much work and effort to grow each tulip. And then for just about 2 weeks the flower blooms and then dies.My question is , what is the coldest and warmest temperature that a tulip can survive in ?

This article was about tulips, where they are from, and how long they grow for. 80% of tulips are grown in the Netherlands. There are 1,700 different types of tulips. The Netherlands ship about 700 million dollars worth of tulips to a variety of places. They take a very long time to grow as full flowers. It takes 3 years for the bulbs to come out. I wonder why these flowers aren't grown more in other places like the USA.
This article is about tulips from Holland. 80% of the tulips we get are from the Netherlands. $700 million of tulips. You need to plant them in the fall if you want them to grow.
When I read this article, I was completely surprised. I can't beleive we get 80% of our tulips from the Netherlands and $700 million worth of them. Why are there so many tulips over there instead of here?
In the article tulips what I read about is that tulips come in different sizes and shapes. The tulips have to be planted in a warm area or an cold area or they don't grow. the tulips are really really pretty. they are all different because nothing is the same.
The article is about the tulips being grown along the year. The tulips bulbs take 5 years to grow ( which is a long time) in the 17th century tulips were popular that time 40 bulbs were sold up to 100,000 florins (which i think is money) I think the main thing of this article is the history of Tulips.
I never thought that tulips where popular i thought that daffodills and sunflowers and roses & it takes years!!!!!! to grow thats just too long for a single tulip and for 40 bulbs for that much money!!!!!! thats crazy i really learned alot about tulips :)
This article is about the growing and export process of tulips in Holland. They discuss how the perfect tulips are grown and the immense time that it takes to grow them to that standard. It also says that the Dutch climate, cold winters and long summers, is ideal for the perfect tulip.
I was suprised at the many varieties that they can grow and ship worldwide in Holland. The colors looked very vibrant. I also was a bit shocked to hear that it takes these growers nearly five years to develop the tulips. I only have one question: WHat is the system of irrogation that is used to water these tulips?
The article Tulips! Tulips! Tulips! Is about tulips and how they are mostly grown in Holland. Its says that Holland is the perfect place for growing tulips because they need hot summers and cold winters. 80 percent is grown in Holland and they spend 700million on the tulips per year. It's also stated that there are 1,700 different kinds of tulips. Its says that it takes 5 years for one to fully grow and that Holland has 400 years of experience for growing the tulips.
My reaction is wow! It's very interesting but it says that the conditions need to have hot summers and cold winters and New York has those conditions so why can't they be grown here too?
This article is about that most tulips come from Holland. Tulips have to be grown in a specific way so that they grow well. They have to be in a place with good drainage. They also have to be planted 4-6 inches in the ground. It will be surprising to see how the tulips grow.
I was surprised when I found out that 80% of tulips came from Holland. I didn't know that they were from Holland. It is intereseting that it takes so many years to produce tulip bulbs, and that the growing coditions have to be so specific. Do other flowers have growing conditions like tulips?
This article is about how to grow tulips. The article says that Holland is the best environment to grow tulips because you need cold winters and dry summers to get the best result form this species of plants. Holland exports more than $700 million’s worth of tulips a year. This article also explains how to grow the tulips and it says you need to grow them in the fall for the best result. You also need to space them four inches apart and six inches deep. And you need to plant these flowers in an area with good drainage.
I think that this is very interesting because most plants need much more care and are not as easy to care for as these plants. I am also very surprised that 80% of the tulips are grown in the Netherlands. The part that seemed most stunning was that Holland seals $700 worth of bulbs a year! I also wonder what this article means by good drainage. I think that it is a coincidence that we are also planting tulips I am very excited to watch them grow. In fact I might even try to plant a few tulips of my own!

This article is about tulips. It tell us about where they mostly come from which is Holland. In this article it explains why the tulips come from Holland. The tulips needs to grow in a place where its cols winter and dry summer just like it's in Holland. This article explains how the tulips bulb became popular in the 17 century where they were trade for goods. It also explains to us what are really tulips, they are perennial plant,as they also explains how they are grown. A tulip plant form a seed can grow by 5 to ten years.
I had an astonish reaction to this article. I have no idea that on the 17 century people exchange tulips for houses and land!! How can you trade values items for a plant? I never thought that there were 1,700 different color tulips!! But I didn't understand that they take so mant years to grow it's crazy. I love tulips but I rather buy them than plant them
The tulips come from holland. 80% of the tulips are exported and it cost $700 millions for each tulip per year. The tulips take five years to grow and they become a big tulip. The experts have 400 years of experience to plant the tulips. The key to plant the tulips is the winter and the summer.
My reaction is that people have to wait 5 long years so the tulips can fully grow. My question is why do the experts need the winter and the summer to make the tulips grow. To make a new set of tulips on a field it takes about 20 years tomae a new set of tulips seeds. Every time yuo want to change the tulips seeds you do it now. They can grow by the developed in the garden.
This article is about how people ship tulips and how to grow them. 80% of them came from the Netherlands! You have to plant them in the fall for good drainage.
I loved this article. 80% came from the Netherlands! I didn’t know that. Is it easy or hard to ship tulips? I wonder.
In this artical they are talking about about how people ship the tulips. Also they talk about the beautiful experience with growing these amazing tulips and all the kind of shapes, and colors, and sizes tulips come in. Most of the tulpis were grown in the Netherlands then were shipped out to America. You have to plant the tulips in the in the fall, and you need good drainage inorder to give the tulips the water and nutients to grow. I wonder why they grown in the Netherland and then shipped out to America?
This article is about how 80% of tulips live in the Netherlands. Which exports more than $700 million worth of tulips per year! Tulip bulbs take up to five years to fully form. The tulips need a good environment to grow in. This article is also about growing tulips.
I like the way the article shows tells you about the way tulips in holland grow and how much they are worth. Also how the tulips need a special drainage to live. Why do most of the tulips come from holland.
This article is about tulips and how and where they are grown. There are 1,700 types of tulips. 80% are shipped to America from Holland and the Netherlands. Tulips take 5 years to grow. They need very special conditions in order to develop properly. They have to grow inside for a year, then outside for a year, then after three more years, they'll be ready. Tulips also require dry summers and cold winters.
I never knew that the tulip flower was so complicated. I didn't know that they came from Holland, or that there were 1,700 different kinds of tulips. Through this article I learned that they require special attention. If you want to spread a new type of tulip, it takes 20 years because each bulb takes 5 years and they need to make seeds to reproduce. Now I realize that tulips are really an incredible flower. They are more complex then they seem. One question I have is, Why do tulips need dry summers? I would think that they would need a lot of water during the summer because of the humidity.
This article is about tulips and how they grow and what they need to do that. 80% of tulips were first grown in the Netherlands. They have about 400 years of experience for growing tulips. It takes five years for the seed to form into a bulb also clod winters and dry summers. This is made esaier because you don't have to wait you can just buy. You also need good drainage. what is good Drainage?
Peolpe are always shocked by the out come of the color shape and size. In the article it said you have on idea in your head but something else always comes out and surprises you. People say that tulips are beautiful and so colorful to see they have extrodinary varites. They come in 1,700 different shape, sizes and colors.
Whoa, was my first reaction to when I read this article? I didn’t know half of the stuff I read. I didn’t know that they are 1,700 types of tulips that’s just amazing. I guess u learn something new everyday. This article is about 80% of the 1,700 tulips being shipped to America from Holland. Tulips take 5 years to grow, that’s a long time but I guess it’s worth it. They come in all colors and shapes. They need very special conditions in order to develop properly, cold winters and dry summers. They also have to grow in and outside for different years and then they’ll be ready to bloom. Also I did not know Holland grows up to 25,000 tulips every year. The crazier thing is the country exports more than $700 million worth of bulbs here to the U.S . I believe that has a small affect on our economy and I believe that’s a lot of tulip bulbs. In this article it says you have to give special attention to the plants. If you want to spread a new type of tulip, it takes 20 years because each bulb takes 5 years and they need to make seeds to reproduce. This is a long and hard process never knew how difficult it was to plant tulips. I have 3 questions portraying to this article. My first is why do the bulbs need dry summers won’t they dry out and die? Why does it take so long even for pros to plant? And my third is why are we wasting so much money on tulips when we could be helping better causes?
The passage talks about the amount of tulips. 80 percent of the 1,700 tulips come from Holland. Then exports more than 700,000,000 dollars of tulips per year. Tulips need cold winters and hot summers to grow. With care it will go easy to grow when you buy them.
I think that people spent a lot of money on tulips. I also think that people shouldn't spend a lot of money on tulips. They should spend a decent amount of money. Also people should plant more tulips too. That is what I think about this passage.
Of the 1,700 varieties of tulips, about 80 percent come from Holland, which exports more than $700 million's worth of tulips per year. To keep the plant healthy you have to plant it in the fall. How they grow, and where they are grown. After that they shipped it into America. You have to plant into the fall , and you need to get good drainage in order for it too grow.
My one question is can tulips grow in the fall
This article is about how 1,700 varieties of tulips, about 80 percent comes from Holland, which exports more than $700 million's worth of tulips per year. Also to keep the plant healthy you have to plant it in the fall. After they ship it into America. You have to plant it in the fall, and you need to get good soil in order for it too grow. Do tulips have different colored seeds for the color of the flower.
this shows that 80% of tulips are grown in that Netherlands, you don't know what the tulip will look like until you grow them. they plant is ship to america after. in holland they don't know what the flower will look like but here it tells you on a packet. 700,000,00 are exported from tha country
This article is about how do you grow tulips, why tulips are so popular in the Netherlands and that 80% of tulips in America is actually from Holland. From this article I learned that from how much work it is to plant a Tulip, that's why so many Dutch people lost money because it was too much work for people.
I was very surprised when I read this article tat Tulips can grow in a cold climate. Most plants don't grow in cold climate, so why do Tulips grow in a cold climate without dieing like other plants?
This article is about where tulips are grown and how there grown. 80% of tulips are grown in Holland since its climate is ideal for growing tulips. They have cold winters and dry summers which is key for growing tulips. Tulips of red, pink, orange, purple, and any other color are grown for five years until they are fully developed. First the tulip seeds are harvested for one year, in a special room. Then they are put outside to grow for another year. It takes three years before the tulip bulb is formed. Then the bulbs are planted in the fall and placed four inches apart from each other and are buried six inches deep. From that point they will just grow.
I feel pretty fine about how tulips are grown. They are grown in a place with four hundred years of experience, so they are probably well cared for. The only question I have is why can't tulips be grown in places other then Holland? I know that Holland has the ideal climate for growing tulips, but why do they need cold winters and try summers. What affect does that have on the tulips? I think if it's possible, tulips should be grown all over the world, that is the parts with close enough climate to Holland's. This would brighten up the world and make tulips easier to get and more affordable.
this is about how tulips grow how long it takes and how they grow. it take a tulip 5 years to grow, this tulip needs cold winters, and dry summers. they also come in all different colors, shapes and sizes. they are native to southern Europe, south africa, and asia. they have lage flowers and those flowers are have 6 petals. there are 1,700 varities tulips and about 80 percent which exports 700 millions per year.
I found the article to be very interesting I even went to a florist to get a up close look at the tulip I always thought it was a beautiful flower I was also surpised that it was from Holland.
